TWISTED SISTER new album 2011

TWISTED SISTER

Eagle Rock Entertainment has set a July 26 release date for "Double Live - Northstage Theatre 1982 / New York Steel Benefit show 2001", a two-disc DVD set which couples TWISTED SISTER live shows from the start of the band's recording career in 1982 and the beginning of its reunion career in 2001. The show from the North Stage Theater in Long Island in 1982 was the same year as the release of TWISTED SISTER's debut album, "Under The Blade". It features many of the songs from that record along with some brilliant cover versions and is a stunning snapshot of the band in its early days.

Following the terrible events of September 11, 2001, TWISTED SISTER's classic lineup reunited to headline the New York Steel benefit show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on November 28 that year. The concert was a fundraiser for the families of New York police officers and firefighters who had lost their lives in the attack on the World Trade Center. The reaction to TWISTED SISTER's set was overwhelming and led directly to the ongoing existence of the band today.

"Double Live - Northstage Theatre 1982 / New York Steel Benefit show 2001" track listing:

Darker Days (Stream of Passion album)

Stream of Passion is a progressive metal band with symphonic metal and gothic metal influences founded by Arjen Anthony Lucassen and Marcela Bovio.
